Deck My Dorm Return/Exchange Policy
We know that you will fall in love with all of your Deck My Dorm selections, but in the unlikely event something doesn't work out... here is our return/exchange policy.
Custom ordered bedding and special ordered bedding, including Create Your Own Bedding, is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. We will accept exchanges and returns on all Davenport Bedding with a 20% restocking fee. Please note- Shipping costs associated with the return of any Davenport item will be assumed by the customer. Deck My Dorm will NOT refund the cost of shipping associated with customers receiving a refund or for the exchange of any Davenport Bedding.
All posters and wall decals are NOT returnable if original packaging has been opened. Sorry, if you open these items they now belong to you!! (After all, who wants a crinkled poster or a wall decal that has been stuck to another persons wall)???
Read instructions carefully for washing all bedding items. We recommend that you wash everything in cold water on a gentle cycle. We suggest air drying for comforters, duvets, pillows, and bed skirts.
How to return/exchange an item:
Returns or exchanges must be postmarked within ten (10) days of the original shipping date and must be accompanied by a return authorization number. NO EXCEPTIONS.
1. Email us with the reason for return at info@deckmydorm.com to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#). In order to receive a full refund, items must be returned in their originally condition and packaging. Please be aware that the issuance of an RA# does not guarantee that the merchandise will be accepted for return or that the charge for the merchandise will automatically be credited back to your credit card. You will be notified of acceptance once the merchandise has been returned and inspected by Deck My Dorm.
2. Please print out the email containing the RA# and include that with your full name, address, phone number and email
address. All shipping costs associated with returns will be assumed by the customer. Deck My Dorm does not refund shipping costs on the original order or on any returned or exchanged item.
3. Merchandise must be shipped securely packaged, prepaid and insured. All merchandise must be received within seven (7) days of the receipt of the RA#. Merchandise must be received to the following address:

Deck My Dorm recommends shipping returned merchandise via UPS or insured parcel post for tracking purposes. Deck My Dorm does not take responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that any return packages are lost, stolen or mishandled. Please also note that Deck My Dorm cannot accept any packages that are sent Cash/Check on Delivery (COD).
*Please note that the RA# must be legibly written on the outside of the return package for identification. Returned merchandise will not be processed nor can any refund be processed without an RA#.
4. Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, Deck My Dorm will send you an email regarding the status of your return. We will process your return request within five-ten business days following receipt of the package.
5. If your return request is approved, unless a gift certificate or exchange is requested, all refunds will be made in the method of the original payment. Only the value of the merchandise and sales tax, minus any discounts, if any, will be refunded. Shipping and handling charges and import duties are not refundable.
